Kiltality - Robin and Hugh

Robin Phillips, the Trust's Senior Development Officer for many years left the Trust in December 2006 to work full-time on his own architectural drawing, house design and related advice business. Ronnie MacRae was promoted to the vacant Senior D. O post in April 2007. Kate Dunbar, the Trust's Information Services Officer left the Trust in June 2007 to work for Feis Rois in Dingwall. Kate's job responsibilities are now being shared by the Trust's latest staff recruits (June and July 2007), Morven Taylor and Susan Hunter who were appointed as Development Assistants but have now been promoted to Development Officers. Morven's D.O "patch" is Skye, Lochalsh and Wester Ross and Susan's, Locaber and West Loch Ness. Morven also has responsibility for house plot sales and advice services and Susan for in-house financial management and organising the April 2008 Housing Conference.

Recent changes to the Trust's Board include the appointment of Drew MacFarlane-Slack as the Scottish Rural & Property Business Association's new Highland representative, replacing Kate Gordon Rogers who resigned her post with S.R.P.B.A. in summer 2007. Christine Henderson, the Trust's long-serving Treasurer and community elected Director (by Golspie C.C) stood down at the September AGM. All the other Community Elected Director were re-elected, namely: James Cornwall (Fortrose and Rosemarkie CC), Ranald Coyne (Arisaig CC), Bill Hall (Edinbane CC), Liz Pritchard (Shieldaig CC) and Ronnie Young (Cromarty CC).
